MACO Media & Filmmaking Planner Giveaway – Official Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter
The promoter of this giveaway is MACO Media Melissa Cofie and Filmmaking Planner Aysha Scoot (“Promoter”).

2. Eligibility
2.1. This giveaway is open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the United Kingdom and aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2. Employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, or family members of the Promoter, or anyone professionally connected with this giveaway, are not eligible to enter.
2.3. By entering, participants confirm that they meet these eligibility criteria.

3. Entry Period
The giveaway opens on Wednesday 27th August 2025 and closes at Saturday 6th September 2025 (“Entry Period”). Entries received after the closing date will not be considered. The Promoter is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or otherwise invalid entries.

4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter, participants must:

Follow both @filmmakingplanner and @maco.media on Instagram/TikTok;

Comment on the designated giveaway post with the requested response.

4.2. No purchase is necessary.
4.3. Multiple entries by the same participant are void. 
4.4. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or otherwise fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions will be disqualified.

5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
5.2. The draw will be conducted by the Promoter or its appointed representative within 7 days of the closing date.
5.3. The winner will be notified via Instagram/TikTok Direct Message. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
5.4. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence regarding the selection of the winner will be entered into.

6. Prize
6.1. The prize consists of [list prize items] with a total approximate value of £[insert value].
6.2. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value if circumstances require.

7. Postage and Delivery

7.2. Delivery times are indicative and typically range within 7-14 working days.
7.3. The Promoter shall not be liable for any delays, loss, or damage occurring during transit.
7.4. The winner must provide accurate and complete delivery information; the Promoter may withhold prize dispatch until this information is supplied.

8. Publicity
8.1. By entering, participants consent to the Promoter using their first name, social media handle, or images submitted as part of the entry for marketing, promotional, or publicity purposes across social media platforms and other channels without further compensation unless prohibited by law.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1. All content submitted as part of the giveaway, including comments, text, images, and video, remains the property of the participant but may be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes.
9.2. Participants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display such content for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes.

10. Liability
10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for:

Technical failures, including network, hardware, or software errors;

Lost, delayed, or misdirected entries;

Any injury, loss, or damage suffered by participants or third parties in connection with participation or the prize.
10.2. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence or for fraud.

11. Force Majeure
The Promoter shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts, civil disturbances, war, terrorism, fire, flood, storm, pandemic, governmental actions, or network outages.

12. Indemnity
By entering, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with:

Participation in the giveaway;

Acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize;

Breach of these Terms & Conditions by the participant.

13. Social Media Platform Disclaimer
This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, or any other social media platform. By participating, entrants release these platforms from any liability in connection with this giveaway.

14. Marketing Consent
By entering this giveaway, participants explicitly consent to receive marketing communications, including email newsletters and promotional content, from the Promoter. Participants may opt out of such communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each email.

15. Data Protection
14.1. Personal data collected will be used solely to administer the giveaway and deliver the prize.
